74TH GOLDEN GLOBES - 2017


The 74th Golden Globes Awards telecast will be on Sunday Jan 8, on NBC, hosted by Jimmy Fallon.


Films nominated for best picture included the favorites:

Of course,  (drama), (musical or comedy), (foreign language), and (animated) are all separate categories at the GG.

Meryl Streep, nominated for FLORENCE FOSTER JENNINGS is also getting a special award at this year's GG.

LA LA LAND had the most nominations (7), followed by MOONLIGHT (6) and MANCHESTER BY THE SEA (6).

For TV, one of my favorites, THE AMERICANS was nominated for Best Actress (Keri Russell) and Best Actor (Matthew Rhys).

MOZART IN THE JUNGLE, which just started streaming their 3rd season on Amazon, was nominated for Best Television Series (musical or comedy) along with Gael Garcia Bernal for Best Actor.

Liev Schreiber was nominated for best Actor (drama) for RAY DONOVAN.
